Come early with a picnic from 6pm and sit back for pre-show entertainment starting at 6:30pm at picturesque Riverside Gardens in Bayswater. At dusk, as the sun sets over the water, the gigantic floating screen lights up at 7:30pm with a riveting animated film from the popular Asterix series.

Asterix and Obelix have been given a tough mission: transform the Chief's lazy nephew Justforkix into a warrior. Meanwhile, a group of fearless Viking warriors travel to Asterix's village on a quest to discover the meaning of fear, having heard that fear gives you wings. When Justforkix is kidnapped, Asterix and Obelix must mount a desperate rescue mission in order to save their protégé before the Chief discovers their incompetence.

With outstanding voice-over actors including Sean Astin, Brad Garrett, Paul Giamatti and John Di Maggio, this wonderful family film features great gags and terrific animation.

Picnickers are welcome from 6:00pm, and barbecue facilities are available at Riverside Gardens. To ensure everyone has a good view of the screen, please only bring blankets or low chairs.
